Brilliant Buy
I have this robot lawnmower almost 3 months now and it's honestly one of the best purchases I have ever made. I laid the base-plate and boundary wire with no problems. I using a lawn edger to get the wire down deep enough. I skipped a lot of the digital set up so that it couldn't tell what day of the week it was. The PIN is preset to 0000 so I just left that also. To do it's first charge you have to manually roll it into its position on the base-plate and not just put it onto the connectors. Once charged (a few hours for a total charge) you then press "Start" and "OK" and off he goes. It leaves no cuttings for raking up and does a very even and tidy cut. Brilliant product with a good value price

Fantastic
Thought this would have been a rubbish toy given it's the cheapest one on the market. Yes you'll need to strim the edges or leave them as wild edges as it doesn't have an edging cutter but it's genuinely one of the best things I've ever bought. No more trips to the tip with cuttings or spending an hour and a half cutting the grass once a week in summer. I have a few steep slopes that I never thought it would cut and it does. Great bit of kit and does what it says on the tin! Only gripe would be that it doesn't work weekends... I do so that annoyed me a little, will only work mon-fri (unless you lie when setting the date) basically will work for 5 days then have 2 off.

Love it
If you’ve got an older relation who’s finding grass cutting a problem get them this. I can’t praise it enough. As long as you set up the wire properly it’s a revelation. Off it goes twice a day Mon to Frid. Lawn has never looked better

Cracking piece of kit
I've wanted a robot mower for a couple of years but couldn't justify the expense so I was delighted to see this model at a reasonable price. Only got a small garden with a grass area of around 150 sqm - and it's not smooth! Got my son and his partner to set it all up for us (but the instructions weren't hard to follow) and, apart from making some minor adjustments to the boundary wire (to stop it getting stuck behind a tree!) it's doing a great job. Apart from saving my husband and I from having to cut the grass (and collect/dispose of the clippings) it's also a great entertainment for us and our cat who is mesmerised by Mac the Knife! Top tip - set the area larger than your lawn (we've now set ours to the maximum of 250 sqm) so it doesn't miss any bits. Then grab a coffee and watch it go! My only suggestion for improvement would be to simplify the settings.

Won't do anything
Basestation and periphery wiring set up fine with the green light on as expected. Connected the mower to the charging prongs and waited...for a week! The mower just won't switch on when the on button is pressed as per instructions. Elgin shop has no more stock so stuck without a mower. Very disappointed.

This product is fantastic
I was unsure whether to get one but now I wished I got one sooner .The instructions look more complicated than it is but the initial set up takes a while .It doesn’t go completely to the edges so you would need to cut the edges but I would def recommend this product it’s saved me so much time

Cracking mower
I bought this Mower to temporarily replace my other Mower (£1k) whilst it was repaired. This mower feels cheap and plasticy in comparison to my expensive mower and has a small cutting area. When it started I didn't hold up much hope for a neat even cut..... How wrong was I. This little mower is extremely quiet and very capable. No missed bits, all short and even too. I have it on my old mowers wiring perimeter, so I can't comment about how much you'd be left with for strimming edges, but ultimately, this little mower is covering the bulk admirably.

One of the best purchases
I honestly absolutely love this little thing! The set up was much easier than I thought, (instructions make it seem slightly more complicated) and the grass is cut so well and evenly. Just set it off and let it go. As our station for the mower is quite far away from the outdoor socket we don’t leave it plugged in continuously so we plug it in every other week to top the charge up and then set it off. Although we aren’t using it to automatically set off itself, it’s no bother to switch it on and it still works perfectly.
