MacAllister battery powered circular saw.
Great little workhorse, came as a bundle so no need to mess around with trying to get the right battery and charger. Came with all the bells and whistles and a fitted blade.

MacAllister circular saw
Instruction manual is clear and simple to understand. The saw comes with a 2 yr guarantee when most manufactures only offer 1 yr. The saw is light and easy to handle. It comes with a LED work light and a dust extractor adapter to fit a vacuum. Being cordless is very handy and safer, means no tripping over any cables. Not the most powerful of circular saws but it’s strong enough to cut mdf, plywood, 2” timber etc, great for the latest panelled wall trend. It’s ideal for your average diy-er around the home.

Sturdy
The product is a very sturdy item. You will have to buy the battery pack separate which I still have to do. It’s good if you need the item for the work that need it.

Cordless circular saw
Cordless circular saw unit is a great piece of machine. Very helpful with DIY projects. Easy to set up. Smooth start up and little kick back. Spindle lock for easy blade changing. Works with the 18v battery. Its not too big so easy to storage.

Great for diy’s
I received this product for free from Influenster and MAC Allister in exchange for my honest review. The Mac Allister cordless circular saw has been a great addition to my husband’s tool kit. The saw is light weight, easy to use and gives an accurate cut. It’s so easy to use I’ve been using it myself for my up-cycle projects and diy’s at home. Great saw overall, which I would highly recommend for any novice looking to do their own diy projects. It’s reasonably priced and gives great results. Just bear in mind you have to buy the battery pack separately as this is just a bare unit.

Good value circular saw!
I got this Mac Allister Circular saw for my husband who was undertaking a garden room project. He said it was really easy to use and the build quality was excellent for such a cheap product. He really liked the laser guide and it proved invaluable in ensuring the timber was cut accurately. Even though the product was predominantly used outdoors, the dust extraction feature gave you options of using it indoors if the weather took a turn for the worse (which it did). My husband is really happy with the Mac Allister Circular saw as it made the job a lot easier and a lot faster! He has no reason to buy a more expensive saw!

Good for a diy beginner
Great tool for a diy beginner like me.. worked well and did the job needed. However the only disappointing thing was it doesn’t come with a battery to start, lucky my neighbour had one that was compatible so I could use it. But I need to invest in a battery now and they are hard to get hold off.

Great piece of kit!
For a DIY level saw, the MCS18 fairly packs a punch! Great piece of kit, easy to use with simple to follow instructions. Can be used with a power cable or battery pack. Would highly recommend for any household joinery work!
