En fonte, pas en acier !
J'ai réussi à casser l'étau en essayant de dévisser une pièce à la main ! Ce n'est malheureusement pas une surprise. J'avais acheté cet étau en pensant qu'il était en acier (ce qui est indiqué dans la description de l'article), ce qui n'est pas le cas. Dommage, perte de temps et d'énergie...

It’s ok
Ok but not the best. The swivel function has a lot of play in it now after a couple of hard(ish) jobs. If you’re anything more than a light hobbyist then it’s not going to last

NOT a good vice .
First one broke after 1 year which I thought might have been bad luck . Bought a 2nd one and this broke after 2 months. Better to avoid this one .

Rubbish quality
Just bought this about an hour ago When screwed out fully it doesn’t go back in Reaslised there’s a screw and a washer missing from the back which is supposed to act as a stop

Could be dangerous.
First impressions are that the vice could be extended to the point where only a too small washer at the end of the screw thread stops half of the 13.3kg weight falling out on your foot. The washer was secured by a too long small bolt and was only finger tight. It could not be screwed tighter as hole in end of the main screw had not been drilled and tapped deep enough. Fortunately it was not much trouble to replace this with a shorter small bolt and a larger washer, easier than returning it to B&Q because of the weight. A smaller version of this vice had the same construction.

Bon produit mais pas de fixati
Dommage qu'à ce prix les fixations ne soient pas prévues. Étau fixé avec de la visserie de 14. A mes frais.... seul hic du produit à ce jour...
