Solidly made, when the calibration was checked it was within 1nm of the bar end micrometer setting.

Despite the previous reviewer criticising the 28nm per revolution this is actually very helpful as the spindle is marked 0-14 twice, so that a rough conversion can be made quickly to foot pounds (14nm = roughly 10 ft/lb).

The adjustment is quick and when you tighten using the setting bolt on the end of the spindle it holds the setting for as long as you need it. The ratchet works well and reverses easily.

Comes in a decent solid abs plastic case. This is bar far the best made 1/2 torque wrench I have found for under £50.

Very easy to set. and does the job.

It may not be like the really expensive ones, but it does the job easy.

They are not hard to set like the other person said in his review. you just set it to the nearest 10 and then set the rest of the torque using the numbers on the adjustment handle.

I have had one the same as this for nearly 20 years, and only bought it again because I lost my other one.

Has a very budget feel

The initial look and feel of this wrench is of a budget tool. The finishing and details look cheap and the adjustment doesn't have a smooth feel to it.

There is only Newton Meters marked on the handle, no Foot Pounds, and one revolution of the grip adds 28 NMs. This is very confusing. For example, if you needed to set the tool at 95NMs you need to find 84 marked on the handle then add 11.

If I had to buy another, I would look elsewhere.
