This jointing, smooth & finishing compound from Make Good is designed for use on gypsum plaster, cement render, painted surfaces, wallpaper, concrete, cement board and plasterboard. It is lightweight, easy to sand and dries to a solid white allowing you to create a seamless finish.

- Let the product harden before disposing in general waste. Avoid contact with eyes & skin, in the instance of contact wash immediately with clean warm water & seek medical attention. Avoid ingestion-if swallowed, wash mouth with water.

Works well
Bought this for filling plasterboard joints. It needs to be watered down and given a good mix as its too thick and full of air out of the tub. Once I had done that it goes on well, no cracking with only a light sand required.

Convenient and mess free...
As said in other reviews not a full tub by far, and on opening the product was hard and powdery, almost like it was mid set...so mixed with half a cup of water in the tub and after 30 mins was smooth and creamy again like plaster should be.. Application was good with the small tub enough to cover the area of a standard doorway at 2-3 mm thick (2m square area) as a single coat. Polishing required an hour later with water and trowel. Few areas needed fine surface filler and a sand...otherwise fairly happy...Not as cheap as a bag of plaster of course but fairly convenient..Would also recommend a coat of plaster sealer or cheaper white low odour quick drying MDF sealer by just painting on, leaving to dry a couple of hours before rollering the emulsion paint. Job done.

Does why it needs to!
Removed old tiles in bathroom and pulled areas of plaster off the walls. I was reluctant to hiring a plasterer as we’re trying to keep the costs down and we’re putting new tiles on so won’t be seen, so bought a tub of ready mixed. It has done a fantastic job of levelling the walls! I would advise following the instructions and buying the correct tools to achieve the best finish! As someone else has mentioned the tub is not full and goes on weight, which was a little surprise when opening the tub as it was about 2/3-3/4 fully. All in all a fantastic, easy to apply product for the novice!

terrible finish and texture
Despite leaving a smooth surface, the dried texture of the product is very aerated and thus, once the edges are feathered and surface lightly sanded, a standard filler was required to fill the bubbles with additional sanding required.

Does the job
Easy to use and higher recommend. Imagine total ammeture and it worked perfectly for filling an old socket whole and under a door step

Good but
This product is very good at jointing plasterboard but the packaging is deceptive. The tub is only half full. It is sold by weight , which is the correct weight but don't imagine you are buying a full tub. There is no indication of this on the outside.

Does what it says on the tin.
Bought for jointing and general crack filling and it's done the job great. Easy to work with but also easy to sand.
