BITUMEN MASTIC is a non-slumping bitumen compound which provides an effective seal

between most roofing materials. It is used for general waterproofing and sealing repairs; sealing

cracks, holes and joints either as a finish or before the application of other materials and for

remedial work before the application of Flashband.

Surface preparation	Ensure that all surfaces are free from loose debris, dirt and grease. All traces of algae and fungi growth should be removed using a stiff bristled brush. Where algae and fungi have been present, the surface should be treated with Fungicide, in order to kill any remaining spores, thereby discouraging the return of the growths.
