Bright lights!
Very pleased with product, good illumination , especially on dark winter mornings! Only downside is the fixing of the lights to underside of kitchen cabinets, a quite fiddley.

Effective and efficient
Easy to install and to use, Hopefully will end the need to regularly change fluorescent tubes.

Extremely pleased!
Bought four of the 6W and two of the 3W to replace under-unit fluorescent strip lights in our kitchen four months ago. We took note of other comments about the delicate fittings and were careful installing them. The old fluorescents hummed and, even though they were "warm white" the light from these LED strips is far more pleasant - in fact the warmest "warm white" LEDs I've come across (and completely silent). I like the fact there is no limit to how many can be daisy-chained together as each is mains powered either directly, or from a short daisy chain figure-8 cable from the preceding strip. The 6W and 3W can be linked in any order you need. The power consumption, which is only about a third of the fluorescent strips is an obvious bonus.

Good neat product
Easy to fix. I fixed two in a line under top cupboards and they give a good even light and arn't seen in the kitchen. Hardly any heat generated, not like the halogen lights I had before.

Excellent light output
I fitted a couple of these in my daughter's kitchen and now she uses no other lighting. They give nice ambient light to the kitchen diner as a whole while providing bright light on the work tops. Superb. One star lost because the mountings are a bit basic.

Disappointing light output
I bought this to replace a 13W T5 fluorescent fitting and it compared very badly. The spec of this product says 6W and 395 lumens. Data for the 13W T5 fitting is hard to find BUT it looks to be about 1200 lumens. This confirms my "mark one eyeball" measurements - these LEDs simply DO NOT deliver as you would expect from the hype that surrounds LEDs. Bad news!!!

most useful
this is the second of these lights that we have bought and are so handy fixed under kitchen cabinets to give the light just where needed

LED Light fitting
The fixings are plastic clips which are not strong enough and have broken within a couple of months. As the units are sealed there is no way of providing an alternative fixing as clips are not available to purchase

LED 6W Cabinet Light
I bought the light to replace an old under cabinet tubed unit but fond the light dull in comparison. The manufacturing is fine......... its just not bright enough.

Somewhat bright, strobing light, fiddly mountings
The colour of the light given off is similar to halogen lamps. Admittedly the LEDs use somewhat less power, but compared to a similar length fluorescent tube cabinet light the light is not as bright. Also, it appears to strobe rather than being constant, flickering at mains frequency (a.c. rectified, but not smoothed to d.c.?). The mounting brackets are tiny and need you to have room to move the lamp to each side - to slide it all the way onto one clip and then halfway back onto the other clip.
