GREAT product with a really useful cutting service
I have bought this board several times and used the in-house cutting service (which is FREE) to do the major cuts. I've made a simple bookcase and a storage unit. The board does cut cleanly with my bandsaw and after an undercoat and gentle sanding gives a nice finish with gloss paint. In my opinion it is a great value product and the cutting service can't be faulted.

perfect for any painted work
Total disagree about the edge of this product. If your tools are not leaving a clean edge on this then you need to get them sharpened. Router leaves a perfect edge give it a coat of primer let it dry rub down lightly with 180grit then put finish coat on. Smooth as a baby's ....

Don't Buy
I agree with the first dissatisfied reviewer. I too found the 12mm MDF to be poor quality. It was very difficult to achieve a good finish on edges. Not a good buy.

Cuts cleanly
Board cuts cleanly with circular saw. All edges and corners of original board clean and sharp and no damage. Board structure dense and consistant with good semi-gloss surface finish.

MDF - Poor quality
Bought 12mm MDF from local store. Found it to have poor structural qualities being light and very fibrous. Poor surface texture and virtually impossible to get quality finishes on edges and with machine tools (e.g. router) because of its very open density. Can almost push in a drawing pin by hand! There are much better, more substantial, products available elsewhere. Very disappointed. Don't buy unless your job needs are very basic.
