The Metsä Wood primed mdf skirting board is (L)2.4m x (W)11.9cm x (T)18mm, is a pack of 2. Crafted with a torus profile, features a semicircular convex curve. Our MDF skirting boards are machined from moisture resistant MDF before being primed with two coats of quality primer ready for installation.

Great Product
Great product, been using this for years along with the matching architrave Doesnt matter if the packet is tatty or the item is scuffed/scratched, it comes primed and needs prep & paint to finish it Perfect for the job

excellent value
did the whole living room in a day, look superb when painted. easy to fix to wall either screws, nails or glue depending on your preference.

Not the greatest...
Although carefully packed in loads of bubblewrap several (of 12) bits of the skirting board were slightly damaged with gouges and chips. Not worth sending back as could be filled and sanded but annoying and shows poor customer care and a lack of understanding that when a customer buys new products THEY SHOULD BE PERFECT. I notice that others have had a similar experience.

Excellent condition, and delivery was prompt
I bought some similar skirting from another retailer, and the product was awfully warped, but I didn't realise quite how bad it was until I had cut a few peices and fitted them. So i removed the old one, and took my chance on B&Q's skirting board. I'm SO glad I did. Not only was the product in perfect condition, but the delivery was extremely cheap and prompt. I spent days trying to find the best price, and it was here all along!

Nice but expensive.
It's nice to work with and the quality was good, however it is expensive and another big shop does a simmilar one a lot cheaper. Better then pine as it's straight.

Good product, but delivered in poor condition
I had no intention of reviewing skirting board, but B&Q auto-emailed me twice asking me to, so here it is. We ordered five packs. In three, the board was damaged, chipped, or scratched, despite being wrapped in suffocating bubble wrap and sellotape that took some effort to remove carefully. We were forced to use the boards as the job was urgent and we couldn't fit them in our small car to exchange at a store. So, yep, very bad condition and pretty disappointing. There's your review.
