Infested with sciarid flies, killed plants.
All compost I bought from B&Q was infested with sciarid flies, which spread through all my indoor plants and killed most of them, despite treatments being used. It’s happened in the past as well. Never buying compost from B&Q again, waste of money.

Ideal product for bonsai
I bought this compost to transplant bonsai plants & to date am pleased with the results.The plants are thriving & I am sure they will continue to improve.

Plants love it, so do gnats.
I repotted not just my succulents but also my monstera, snake plant, prayer plant and dragon tree and they are thriving. However I am sick of swatting gnats! I suspect these were in the mix as each pot has them. I have added diatomaceous earth and this has knocked it on the head. But what a pain! So I have only rated 4 stars as this is disappointing.

Great peat free cactus compost
Recently bought this product for re potting my cactus. It was perfect for the job and better for the environment as peat free

Horrible Soil...more like sand
Terrible soil, too compacted and doesn't drain well. Cactus soup should contain some sand but this is basically 99% sand. B&Q seem to have stopped their own brand of cactus/succulent mix which was totally different and a whole lot better (chunky and well draining) which is a huge disappointment

Works really well! Doesn't stay wet for too long whichbis great for succulents. I use it on all kinds of houseplants too!
