Too noisy
I bought an MK ceiling switch for our toilet, as I was happy with one bought a few years ago for the bathroom. The quality of the manufacture was fine, and I fitted it quite easily. But when it came to using it, the newer switch mechanism has a loud "clunk", rather than the much quieter "click" of the earlier MK Logic 6A ceiling switch. It is so noisy that I am going to have to replace it with a quieter switch. Not happy with the extra work it will mean, the extra expense and disappointment that a brand I've trusted for decades has got its latest version of switch so badly wrong for the noise level in operation.

1 way bathroom pull switch replacement
Does exactly as needed. Easy to fit and wire. Got same day as old one broke. Staff very helpful in getting correct replacement.

Absolute rubbish
Clunky, noisy, and lasted a few weeks, surprised for a MK, no receipt so in the bin, will buy a quality one.

First one faulty, second one faulty!
First one clicked exactly once. Second one also only clicked once! Please remove this product and replace with a quality switch. I'm going to buy from another retailer now.

Pull switch fails
Bought one of these to replace existing pull switch. After 2 months the switch would not "click" when pulling on the cord (maybe the mechanism inside was faulty???). So went and bought another to replace the original replacement. Guess what, it didn't last one month this time before the "click" mechanism failed again. No way was I going to buy a third! Poor product

Always bought MK because of the quality. BUT...
This MK switch isn't up to the standard that I have become a custom to with MK products. After about a year of installing, the bulb would flicker when on. I took the switch apart to find that the very cheaply made parts inside had corroded. I cleaned them and reinstalled the switch. Another year on, the same thing has just happened so I thought I would right this review. Plus, the switching mechanism sometimes gets stuck which prevents the light from switching on (this happened from day one a couple of years ago).

Good Value replacement switch
Easy to fit and a well made product. It does make quite a strong click when pulled compared to the old one so might be heard in adjoining rooms especially at night.

I wanted a quiet one.
Hello Dragons I'm here today to offer my quiet ceiling switch. I recently tried to find one and couldn't so here it is and we're all going to be millionaires. Joking aside with all the technology available why hasn't somebody invented one with this unique selling point! It would instantly sweep the competition aside. I bought this one today and fitted it easily ( I'm a taxi driver not an electrician ). It works. But like the previous one, ten years old and eventually fell apart, this is also not quiet. I hope someone in this industry reads this so when I go to buy my next one "The all new quiet switch" will be available as standard and at a reasonable price!!!
