USEFULL FOR TOOTHBRUSH CHARGER IN BEDROOM
Purchased this product knowing that it is going to be installed in a bedroom, which is where it's designed for. Looks great and goes well with the MK Logic Plus accessories, which it's next to the light switch. It also works with some toothbrush chargers that may use a shaver adapter.

Misleading product - watch out!
This is a fine product if you want a shaver socket NOT in a bathroom! The packaging says this but it is not clear so had to return mine when I spotted the error - B&Q display material does not state this only MK packaging. This unit does NOT have the isolation transformer required for use in the bathroom. It is also virtually the same price as the big brother with the right specification.

Just is what it is
This product is exactly what it says it is. It is a shaver socket for a bedroom or dressing room. It is not suitable for a bathroom and if you do decide to fit this in a bathroom then please make sure that your insurance covers you for electrocution as this may well be the case if you decide to ignore the instructions and fit this in a bathroom. If you do want a shaver socket in the bath room you must get an isolated transformer socket (dual voltage and the size of a double socket on its side. This is the only socket that you can legally fit in a bathroom in the UK. If you do fit this product in your bath/shower room then on your head be it.

Bit puzzled about this one!
Nothing wrong with shaver point and no problems with installation but found it a bit baffling why it had "not recommended for bathrooms"???? Couldn't think of another room it could be installed in :)

shaver switch
Looks good and being a single socket was just what I wanted. Unfortunately I had to take it back as the instructions said "Not suitable for Bathrooms".
