Designed to confuse
Like some who bought this product, I was baffled by the fact the screws weren't long enough to grip the wires. I took it back to B&Q and they explained the issue. The manufacturer puts a bit of paint/glue on to each screw to hold it in place while in the packet. If you do not use the right sized screw driver and apply enough torque to break the dried paint/glue on the screw, you are fooled into thinking the screw won't turn any more. It looks and feels like a well-made product, if only the instructions made this clear.

Not easy to fit
I bought an Mk plug socket yesterday to replace an old broken socket. It was meant to be easy to fit! The difficulty is if your cables are short and cut back to copper the holding contact mechanism doesn't screw down far enough. The design I suspect relies on the thickness of the cable coverings with only a minimum of copper. It is not like the traditional design of simply screwing the copper end down ( as say you would with a standard uk plug). I gave up and as it was fair distance to b&q simply popped out and bought a standard plug from the local electrical supplier.
