Better product description required
The trunking is described as “40mm” and “square”. It is in fact Rectangular in cross section and whilst 40 width the depth is 25mm. The photo from proportions would appear to be 16mm in depth. Don’t be mislead by the photo. It would be useful if a question was added to the review to score the accuracy of the description.

Works well
I bought this to hide all the cables from my TV, sky box etc and it does the job perfectly with the additional external corner, a lot tidier.

How to hide those unsightly wires
I bought some 40mm trunking and some 25mm wide sticky backed Velcro tape and fixed the plastic trunking to the skirting boards in our second bedroom. The general idea was firstly to hide the numerous router and telephone wires in the room from sight and to stop our young grandchildren from touching/pulling them. It worked well for both. Using the Velcro was a great and simple idea and can be removed easily at the end of the day.
