REALLY GOOD MACHINE
This is the 4th year using this machine and I still love it. Yes as others have said the oil filler is awkward but not a big problem. It starts first time and this I think is helped because I have always used fuel preserver mixed in the unleaded petrol. It does work better when the grass is dry as when wet it pulls out the grass rather than cutting it and the wheels leave tram lines. This is the first petrol mower I've owned and I like it better than any electric or cylinder mower.

GOOD BASIC MACHINE BUT WITH ONE SLIGHT FLAW
This is an easy to assemble machine that does the basic job quite well. However, the height adjustment mechanism is designed in such a way that there is a bar running through the underside of the deck. This catches the grass as it is cut and clogs up the machine, which means frequent stopping to tilt the mower and clear the grass which has collected around the bar. N.B. There is a big warning notice that the mower must not be tilted side to side, only by lifting the front ..... which means taking off the grass box. So frequent stopping, removing the grass box, lifting the mower, cleaning the grass, reattaching the grassbox & starting again adds a lot of time to what should be a simple job. But if you're prepared to put up with that, the mower is good value for money.

Don't touch with a bargepole & i prev had a Mountfiels mower for 20+ years

Outstanding value
Extremely please with this mower I had been looking for a petrol mower for some time 3 height settings, petrol economical, easy to push, it's sturdy not a lot to set up main handle and pull cord 5 minute job fill with fuel and oil separate I may had not to mix with the fuel. Outstanding value

Great Value for Money
I bought this a month ago and have been really pleased with it. This was to replace a hover mower and I just love not having to sweep grass up after mowing the lawn or getting tangled up in wires. The finish is better than the hover too but the wheels tend to leave lines - perhaps i should have gone for the model with rear roller. On the downside, the prospect of changing the oil looks a bit awkward as is cleaning given the advice to not tip the mower beyond 20 degrees

Easy to use
Bought to replace old mower of different brand, very pleased, easy to use and maneuver around, starts well, cord length ok and cuts with good selection of depths. Click and collect to local store was great. Only negative would be grass cutting box is collapsible and we would have preferred a sturdier solid plastic box to carry load, however the pro would then be storage so depends on user.

dont look buy it before price goes up
£157 is a steel i got mine for £127 as all boxed stock had gone so sorry cant tell you if it is easy to build as mine was complete,anyway true what others say buy a funnel for the oil instructions state .5 ltr you will need more just under one ltr,petrol holds around 3ltr ,ist pull of cord fired it up ,took me 15 mins to cut all lawn, my flymo with 2 extension leads took over an hour great result well worth buying so dont be put off by cheap price.

Cuts grass just like it should.
I could do with grass being slightly shorty but does a good cut and cleans up well. Easy starter.

Good mower
Very impressed with this mower and am pleased I bought it. I have not given 5 stars because it is quite heavy. This is not a problem on the flat but is harder on the uphill sections of my lawn. It cuts very well and does give stripes on the lawn, so well worth the money.
