Style over quality
This extractor fan looks the business, however it has a massive design flaw in the fact that it is made out of glass. When the steam rises from the hob it doesn't extract everything which in turn causes condensation to form on the glass which then drips down into the food and back onto the hob. It's also very noisy, there doesn't appear to be any difference in the sound between level 1 and level 3. I wish we had gone more expensive and paid more attention to what it was made of.

Unusual design but disappointing performance
The hood was professionally installed and hooked up to an external roof mounted extraction pipe. Unless we only use the rear two cooking hobs it doesn't extract the steam or cooking smells. We have tried unhooking the glass screen to no avail. A big disappointment unless we are using it incorrectly

Extractor
We have bought a neff hob and neff wall extractor the the front flap on the extractor does not open enough to draw the stem from front of the hob ,room fills with stem ,not very good

Not very effective
Even with the front panel pulled open it still only extracts steam from the back two zones of the hob. Steam from pans on the front zones just condenses on the front. I expected better from NEFF

Cooker hood
If you have a big hob this model is rubbish as it only extracts from the back of your hob .

Extractor great, flapping vent not so.
Lovely design and seems to work well. Easy to clean when the glass front comes off, not sure haw easy that will be with advancing years. Ver efficient and not that noisy. Garden smells lovely when I'm cooking. So good in fact that I have missed things catching bacause I having smelt the first signs of burning, my problem not yours! Can you redesign the flappy vent so that is doesn't bang in the wind - the extractor housing acts like trumpet and amplifies the noise.
