Made half a bucket of plaster and the handle snapped off on my way up the stairs. Avoid these at all costs unless you want to spend a few hours cleaning up!! Poor quality and only good enough to carry air.
Bad batch ?

I have purchased these in the past and they have lasted well over many years of abuse although the handles have fallen off.
Today i was in the market for a few new ones and decided to buy 5 from the Glastonbury store.
On getting home and half filling one with sand the bucket cracked around the top edge and then literally fell apart.
Thinking this was a one off i continued to use the rest which all went the same way within half an hour.
I am assuming they have perished instore due to their placement in the direct sun in the entry way to the store

I bought 3 of these before Xmas and they were fine. Looks like they have changed supplier as they are now thinner. I filled it up with sand for the first time and it cracked straight away when I picked it up.
good job i bought 3

If i was a betting man which i am, i would say the coins that the bucket cost is around the maximum weight you can carry in these buckets without them breaking
