Value for money
Good lamps, exact replacements size wise. Less harsh than halogens and a nice lighting colour. Good value for money. I wait to see if they last the 50,000 hours they claim.

Great with directional halogen lights
I have a 4-bulb halogen light fitting which I had been using halogen bulbs with. These had been burning out rather quickly so I decided to try LED bulbs. They are a more natural light than the halogen bulbs and the angle of dispersal mean it's a great coverage over the room. They also act less like spotlights, meaning that the room is lit, rather than patches of the wall. Overall they are slightly dimmer, but the quality of light is much better

Nice but dim
These bulbs were bought for the kitchen but even with three installed the kitchen was so dim it was like being in a cave. If you're looking for mood lighting then perhaps these bulbs are for you. If you're looking for clear bright light, then don't buy these. So they will be going back. When will manufacturers gives us energy saving but bright bulbs?
