The directional tweeter allows the higher frequencies to be focused at the listener to help create a better soundstage. These speakers are 8 ohm, if you have a 4-8 ohm stereo amplifier (which many are), you can run 2 pairs (4 speakers) in parallel with each other and the resistance will still be within the limits of the amplifier (4 ohms).Construction – The woofer is constructed from polypropylene and has a rubber surround, the directional tweeter has a ferrofluid cooled silk dome. Fitting – The speakers are fitted into a 166mm cut-out and require at least 72mm of clearance behind.
