• Planting location: Beds, borders or in patio pots

• Flowering period: July - September, Planting period: March - May
• Hardiness: H3 - Hardy in coastal & relatively mild parts of the UK (-5 to 1°C)
• Plant in a sunny spot. Dig soil improver and bonemeal into the planting hole before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole. For a summer -long display, plant at intervals of 7-10 days. Do not attempt to plant these bulbs if the ground is frozen or during freezing conditions Remove faded flowers to prolong flowering. Water well during dry spells. When the foliage has died back, usually after the first frost, cut stems back to 5cm above soil level. Not winter hardy. To over-winter, dig up the corms and store them in a cool, dry and frost-free place. Replant in the same way next year.
