Blade replacement
The bandsaw itself works fine but when it came to blade replacement, it was very difficult to find anywhere that stocks blades for this machine. Consequently, i was without a band saw for a long time whilst sourcing somewhere. Worth buying a better known brand and ensure you can get replacement blades easily at the time of purchase. I have learned my lesson.

great value!
I recently bought this bandsaw instead of a scroll saw, it can handle bigger pieces. Initially I looked at it as a Bobby tool but it has great potential. The most important thing you can do before using one of these and giving it a poor review is set it up properly. I had to assemble a few bits like the table and guide but band was on. Checking the alignment of the blade-few adjustments made with the available knobs. Added two washers to the motor mount as shims to get the wheels coplanar. Now the blade runs centre and true, no wobble.while at it I took each visible screw and nut out, added a little gasket compound and replaced screw, this will stop any vibrations working things loose especially bolts holding the table and guides etc. Blade guides were adjusted for. 25 mm with a feeler guage and bit fiddling. Bearings adjusted to. 5mm finally I cleaned the blade, table and guides with white spirit. The sprayed a coat of ptfe dry lube on the guides and blade. Works like a dream now.
