The Philips Hue dimmer switch is an accessory that you can add to your Philips Hue wireless lighting system. You can connect it to your Philips Hue bridge so you can control your Philips Hue lights without using your smart device. You can also add additional dimmer switches to your Philips Hue wireless dimming setup, so you can dim your lights with multiple switches.
- Hue Dimming Kit requires a separate Hue Bridge to connect to your wireless network. Hue bridges can be purchased as part of the Hue starter pack.

Philips Hue Automated Dimming Switch
The switch was bought to complement the Hue Starter Kit. I'm very pleased with both. The switch answers problems of awkward positioning of the main light switch and gives control from wherever you want in the room. The dimming range is very good.

Simple to use, look good.
Easy to fix onto the wall, simple to setup. My only wish is that they would make them a size to fit over existing light switch back boxes. so you only had one switch.

Fantastically simpler alternative to the Tap
A much cheaper and much more accessible switch as an alternative to the Hue Tap. With the tap I had one as part of a kit but needed a further three to complete the house. This was prohibitively expensive but now these have come out our Hue system is complete for a third of the cost. Great look and build quality and perfect functionality.

Simplicity itself
This product 'does exactly what it says on the tin'. Very easy to set up using the Hue app. From opening the box to fitting & using the item took 10 mins.

Cheap and practical
Great addition for your Philips Hue lights. Place it on the wall to use like a light switch. Select a theme and away you go. On, off and dimmable.

fantastic piece of kit
I bought this a month ago and have paired 2 bulbs with the remote, no bridge or hub needed. Great piece of kit no wiring needed just hold down the top button on the remote until each bulb flashes and hey presto they are paired.
