It works, as I expect it to.
I bought the same item about 8 months ago - it was then £1 (16.6%) cheaper. How can this be justified?

Extraordinary Illuminating purchase!
I bought this fluorescent tube because the fluorescent tube in my kitchen had blown. I paid for it at the checkout and I took it home and then I fitted it into the fitting that I took the burnt-out fluorescent tube out of. I turned on the light and it worked. Then I took the old burnt-out fluorescent tube to the recycling centre, because these are not accepted in my domestic recycling bin. I was able to recycle the cardboard packing from the fluorescent tube however. Buying a replacement fluorescent tube was something I had always believed to be a mundane, routine maintenance procedure, but NO! it is an act that merits writing a review! I look forward to reviewing the bags of potting compost and the bottle of Turpentine substitute i bought the follwing week!

Gives very good light
Bought the replacement tube a month ago working fine, better that a light bulb.
