More warped than Star Trek
This length of dowelling is so warped that it is unusable for its intended purpose. Don't buy this product from B and Q.

Ideal curtain pole replacement
Bought this to replace a 2 piece curtain pole that had broken, did the job and was far cheaper than buying a replacement curtain pole.

Used as strengthening bar.
transforming cot to bed, but felt needed a stregthening bar at the top, so used this dowel, worked a treat. Gradchild can now use cot as bed, thinks its great fun sliding under the dowel.

A sturdy curtain pole
I bought a 2.4m length pole to replace an existing 2 section wooden curtain pole that kept coming apart. A simple and sturdy solution once I had varnished the timber.

Sofa Corner Keeper
I brought a cover for an old sofa that the dogs use. However, the little monkeys kept rucking it up and pulling it off. The application of three lengths of dowel between the seat the back and the arms to hold the cover in place fixed the problem immediately. A non-rucking cover sofa solution!

The pole was exactly what I needed
Brought it do do a feature in the garden but no photos to add
