Features and benefits
Tongue and groove cladding can be fixed in either a vertical or horizontal position. When installing vertically start the project in one corner of the room with the groove side of the board facing the adjoining wall. Cladding can be adhered to a smooth surface or stud work or fixed to timber battens. Cladding can be face fixed or secret fixed by nailing through the base of the tongue at an angle into the stud, wall or batten. When fitting the last board this may need to be trimmed to fit by removing a section from the tongue side of the cladding. If a tight fit the under section of the groove of the cladding can be cut away so the board fits neatly on the tongue of the previous board. This must be glued or face fixed. When fitting cladding in a horizontal position begin with the lowest cladding board at the bottom of the project with the groove nearest the ground, this can also be fixed onto the surface by nailing at an angle through the base of the tongue. Work upwards and complete the project with the last board being cut to fit if necessary.

No Stock and Damaged - wasted trip to store
NevervisitBandQ - 3 months ago
Web says 248 in stock in Peterborough, no only 1, whats the point of publishing a fantasy stock number!
The tongues were damaged and end of some planks mangled.
Unsalable really, but its still on the shelf.
No length of the wood on the web site, that's pretty poor.
Waste time and petrol.
Disgusting, waste of time, DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Bought online and had to return all of it, not a single piece true or usable

Ordered online, our builder collected but found all were substandard and had to select each piece. Unbelievable complications when trying to use a discount voucher.
Inspect before you buy

I've bought several packs of this and it has fitted together well. However there were packs on display in store that were clearly damaged/split/warped so make sure to inspect carefully before you buy. Also don't believe the 'stock available' info against individual stores on the website as I had wasted journeys to a number of stores where stock was inadequate or too damaged to be suitable.
Poor fitting and all warped
Anonymous - 1 year ago
I bought 12 boards of this and have wasted 6 trying to get them to fit. If the tongue and groove worked it would be half the battle, but the fact that they were so warped made it impossible to fit together properly. The finish itself is really nice as I did manage to use 6 of the boards. The rest were a joke. unfortunately I had to cut them to size before I could try the fitting. Worst thing is that I need to use more of these as I have half a job done.
