Worst Purchase Ever

My experience was the same as the other review on here: I bought the mixer in mid-March and it has broken down in the first week of June. The hot tap has stopped working (first it became a dribble, now it has stopped); both taps were jammed one day and I could not stop the water (finally got them to turn back); and tonight the shower stopped working as well. I have family visiting over the weekend, one from overseas, and they will not be able to have a bath OR a shower, and neither will I tonight after a long hard day's work in the city. More than a little bit frustrating and upsetting.

Terrible inner workings of taps, jam open or shut!

Although the product looks great and is fairly cheap there is Design problems. Firstly the tap valve gets stuck in the mounting and needs a blow torch and a very strong person and spanner to remove it, secondly (the most important) the tap valve often gets jammed open or shut easily, in my case it was only a few weeks old! The water was pouring out and we couldn't shut it off. The valve works on a reverse movement using the screw action and reliance on a spring clip which is clearly visible when the cap cover is removed along with the handle. I have changed mine 3 times and it's done it again! Fed up now so I will have to change the whole thing for a new one.

AVOID - hot tap fails after two / three weeks, had them replaced twice by B & Q, won't be buying any more taps from them, paperwork in box is incorrect, states 5 year guarantee but when you ring number on enclosed certificate they inform you they no longer supply them and go back to B &Q, waste of time.
