Not as reviews state.
I read the reviews after I ordered. If I had read first I wouldn't have bought this. The kit is very useful for little bits of plumbing including the flux. As long as you put plenty on it worked as it should. A little less solder than what I expected however I used pre soldered joints.

Flux completely does not work at all.
The flux prevented the solder from sticking to the copper. In fact the solder stuck to everywhere but where the flux was.. How is this sold as flux? I am going to demand a refund, and taking my section of not soldered pipe as evidence..

Terrible flux
Heat resistant mat OK and you get a tiny bit of solder and some steel wool. I however made the mistake of using the flux because I was too lazy to get my proper stuff from the garage. I didn't see that reassuring bright ring of solder around the fitting and it seemed to be just falling off in globs. Rather than risk it I took the whole lot apart and did it again with quality flux. Buy it for the heat resistant mat, bin the included flux and buy some decent stuff instead.
