Buy the demounting tool
Originally bought these because I didn't want to use a flame in a tight and confined space. I carefully marked the engagement length, so I'd know when the the pipe was fully inserted, but couldn't get the required purchase necessary to push home the pipe, the grab ring clamped and I couldn't tell if it was sufficient to have passed the 'o' ring thereby creating the seal. I can't fault the product as it is well made and conforms to the correct BS. Best advise is to buy the demounting tool for all these push fit products.
