Rubbish
Waste of money..too long and no instructions.The handle end has a screw with I assume releases the handle so you can fit it...can't budge it. Not doing a 16 mile round trip to get a refund of a few quid🤣

Badly made
It is meant to be long as you can saw it off for the length that works for you. However, the item quality is still poor. The screw at the knob side worn out after a reinstall. It just can't fix to the snib bar so keep dropping off. useless.

Too long
The bar is too long, I have an standard with toilet door and the bar is way too long

Exactly what I needed.
Exactly what I needed. The rod had to be cut to size which I did easily with a Dremel. It would be possible but more tricky with a hacksaw. Easier still if you have a clamp or workmate to hold it. Instructions are poor.

Product does the job
Product is manufactured long to fit as many door widths as possible. Therefore it has to be cut with a hacksaw probably to fit most doors. While there are no instructions to tell you this it is obvious and a simple DIY job which is the whole point of going to B and Q. I was replacing an old one where the screw kept falling out and this B and Q one is a better fit

Off-set slot
This product is not only too long but also the slot showing open or closed is off-set so you cannot be sure if the bathroom is occupied, the slot should be vertical indicate the bolt is open or horizontal to show the bolt is closed. Will be returning as not to a good standard.

Too short!
Others have stated that this is too long for the standard bathroom door but I found that it was too short for mine! Why do they only do one size??

As said before. To long.
As said before the door lock is too long. No advice saying it needs to be cut to size. I'm a woman and have no help. I'm now going to have to find someone to cut it to size. All this for a bathroom door lock. Not impressed B&Q. A refund will be required.
