Virtually impossible to screw in
These look a nice colour and feel good quality but are almost impossible to screw in because the screw holes are behind the handle. The base plate needs to be bigger to allow room for a screwdriver. My husband did a fairly good job but the screws aren't straight and I'm not convinced the latch clicks properly. I wrapped bits of material round the handles and secured them with elastic bands while we were fitting them, otherwise they'd have been scratched. I wish I'd read the other reviews before buying them. On a good note the staff in B&Q were really helpful when we were looking.

Oh my......
These look quite nice. And that, I'm sorry to say, is the positive review over. Firstly, the packaging. A horrible plastic case, then when you eventually break into it you are faced with plastic inserts on the knobs which are difficult to remove. I had to use mole grips! On fitting the knobs, you can't put the screws in straight as the knob gets in the way! The screw holes are poorly positioned and foul the latch inside the door, so I couldn't get all three screws in. Unless you get the knobs perfectly straight, they won't return to their original position. My son is a joiner and even he had difficulty fitting these and said they were very poorly designed. Give these a miss!!!

DON'T BUY THESE
Packaging is a scandal... you need to destroy it to remove the contents. Completely OTT... save the planet - I don’t think so! Impossible to fit screws straight as they are obstructed by the knob and are soft and weak also. Also screw holes are a very tight fit against the latch mechanism. Enough said. Should have a zero rating. Why do you need a 'nickname' to post a review? After 3 failed attempts because my 'nickname' had already 'been used' you will see I gave up and just put jibberish.

Look good in the packaging - heavy and shiny. You'll need a screwdriver, pinch-nosed pliers and a strong set of scissors to release them from the mad packaging. Tiny flat head screws supplied are impossible to put in because the knob is in the way. Use longer 'spax' type instead for a better chance of getting them tight. Look nice but they are far too stiff to be useful on a simply sprung latch, even when lubricated well. Might be ok as a simple knob to pull on (rather than twist).

Mark easily
Nice looking but packaging is a nightmare ! Also scratch very very easily . Otherwise pretty solid and sure they will lay the test of time

Door knobs
Returned all 11 pairs of the door knobs as we had difficulty in finding any that weren't marked.

Returns
Bought 5 sets of these in shop and online. I think one of the 5 was ok. The rest were scratched or faulty. Some had obviously been returned and re-packaged. Wont use B&Q again
