Bit disappointed
The back workings only just fit into the existing box which is recessed behind tiles so I had to do some adjusting to get it into the space available. Also I was not aware when I bought this that it had a bright blue light which is completely functionless. It's in the kitchen but would be annoying elsewhere. The light is also behind the white plastic and shines through it so it's difficult to mask, I also though about disconnecting the bulb but the unit is sealed. I would have taken it back but I can't be bothered and would cost more in petrol. just get one with no lights instead. The screws it comes with are quite short.

Very handy!
This has been great for the kitchen and living room to use to charge my iPhone. Worth a purchase. Blue light didn't bother me!

Rubbish, do not bother! When it does work, buzzes more than a Bee auditioning for X-factor!!

Blue LED lights up the whole room
Bought two of these for my bedside sockets to charge phone, Kindle etc. Works fine BUT THE BLUE LED (its not a neon) IS VERY VERY BRIGHT and lights up the whole bedroom. You can read a book by it!! Impossible to sleep!!! When removing them I noticed the writing inside said " For office equipment use only" This is excellent for use under an office desk and helps you find the USB port but it is not suitable for home use.

Nice that its 2.4A but neon light is bad
Tried a couple of these but ended up taking them all back to swap for different type.. The blue neon LED stays on all of the time, even when there if nothing plugged in, and is very bright. The description suggests that its only on when there is something plugged in. Anyway, B&Q swapped them with no hassle (I love B&Q .. great customer service ). Got the 2.1A sockets and very happy with these.
