Doesn't work no signal received
Fitted to wall to improve appearance of just using a cable through the wall, once installed no signal received. Tried numerous attempt to tighten screws, check cable connections, all good. Rewired my cable hanging through the wall, signal and channels restored. Don't waste your money on this junk, B&Q should remove this from stock after all the bad reviews.

Good. Could be better
Very simple to fit and useful. However i found that the cable can slide out of the socket very easily so there for i wouldn't buy another one of these

Standard co-ax socket
Didn't work and couldn't return it to the store as I had cut an access slot in the lip to accommodate satellite dish cables which shared the same wall enclosed plastic conduit. Had renewed the socket to complement new double screened WF100 aerial cable and a new television. When all work was completed I could only receive two channels and they were pixilating. Removed the new socket and fitted the 30 year old previously fitted socket - Hey Presto, 145 channels, no pixilation, perfect reception - that doesn't say a lot for your product which was a total waste of money.

Does not work with Sky magic eye
Bought this to replace on old TV outlet Took me hours to fault find why my Sky magic eyes wouldnt work It appears this socket does not pass through the 9v power required for a Sky box magic eye. Difficult to rate this product as it works fine as far as TV picture is concerned but I have given this one star as it should be made clear this outlet wont pass through 9v power to remote magic eyes.
