Quiet mode is very loud
Very easy to put together, the fan is very powerful and all in all works very well to cool a room but it is very loud when being used overnight even on quiet mode.

Outstanding Fan.
This is the second Pro Breeze fan that I’ve purchased. The first, was called a Challenge fan, I purchased 7 years ago and is still in perfect working order to this day! It’s the exact same fan as the Pro Breeze fan, the remote controls even work on both fans. So I wanted a floor standing fan for the bedroom, and I knew the fan had to be the same fan as the Challenge fan. This Pro Breeze fan is identical in every aspect to the Challenge fan. The fan has 3 good speed levels, and a quite fan speed mode for when you want to sleep. Even on speed 1 setting, I can fall asleep without interference from the fan noise. But quite mode just makes it a little more, well quite. The remote control is a must for me. As I have a back disability so getting up and down off the sofa to change speeds etc is a problem. The remote works perfectly, with the choice to change the speed setting, oscillate the fan, turn the fan on and off, turn on quite mode and a button to mimic real wind speeds, so the fan goes from speed settings 2-1-3-1-3-2 etc. These fans are built very well, good quality parts and the last a long time! Plastic fan blades are more quiet than metal blades, so this is good to have plastic blades. Of course you are going to hear some sound when the fan blades are cutting through the air but that’s normal for every single fan. Its certainly not a noisy fan! I’m sure this fan will last as long as my 7 year old fan that is still working perfectly. Its well worth the higher price than a cheap fan that will stop working after 2 years! So you’ll have to buy another!

Heavy blow and less noisy
It's a wonderful modern fan and the key factor is that it has an excellent air push and quite less noisy at its maximum speed. It has a remote to operate which beeps at every adjustment we makes either through remote or on the buttons on the fan, however, it's not an irritating beep, it's alright! Medium to strong built and excellent finishing. I am proud of this purchase and will highly recommend it to others too.

Good fan with remote operation, not quiet
Bought this to replace a similar model owned for maybe 4 years. Comes with a remote control, oscillates left to right at the touch of remote. Bit disappointed with quiet mode, just seems to operate at lowest normal speed which isn't very quiet. Sleep and natural mode also don't seem to work very well. I can hear the fan change speed in natural mode but you don't feel it.

Great fan
Bought this fan to help drift off to sleep in the recent heat. Love the timer function as I don’t like the idea of having the fan on all night. Also don’t like the idea of having to get out of bed to turn it off. Hence why I like the remote control. I’ve had it less than a month and all is well. Can’t speak to its longevity as yet but I do like this fan. I give 4 stars because of the price. I honestly don’t know enough about fans to know about costs but I do think that it was a bit high. I do, however, like everything about the fan so would recommend.

Well constructed, quiet and moves a lot of air!
This fan is fantastic. I did a bit of looking around and settled on this one as it primarily had good reviews. It comes very well boxed, is really easy to put together, and the whole thing is sturdy and well made. In operation, its fantastic (no pun intended). A fan will never be silent, but this is pretty quiet at normal speeds, and really not too bad at full speed. Even at low speed this thing moves a lot of air, and the remote is a brilliant plus, with all the features easily accessible. My one criticism is that it would be awesome if the remote was backlit, as at night in bed you have to have memorised which button is where if you don't want to put the light on. Only a minor irritation. If you are looking for a pedestal fan, buy this. I liked it so much, I bought a second one for the living room!

Saw plenty of positive reviews before purchase which helped. Bought this to use in a largish lounge and it does the job perfectly. As quiet as I hoped it would be, and does not compete with the TV. Easy to assemble, just followed the instructions! I would recommend purchase to others. Delivery was spot on!

Powerful but noisy
It’s a very powerful fan with different modes of operation. The remote control is very convenient. I have to use it on the quiet setting all the time otherwise it’s very noisy. Definitely more noisy than my last standalone Honeywell fan which died after 6 years of use.

Noisier than advertised
I bought this to help with night sleeping and absolutely hate the beep that goes every time you press a button. In the middle of the night when you can's see what you are pressing it is a bit annoying for partner. Also the fan is not quiet - it just means a lower setting, would try a Dyson product next time as I trialled this in a hotel recently, brilliant!
