I have been using a KUMIO 12kg ice maker and have been quite pleased with its performance. However, the Pro Breeze ice maker has now become my top choice. It's larger capacity is perfect for when we have guests, and the additional features make it even more appealing. Not only does it offer the option of creating both small and large ice cubes, but it also has a self-cleaning mechanism that simplifies maintenance. Despite its sizeable capacity, the machine is relatively easy to move and doesn't occupy too much space on my kitchen counter. Operating the ice maker is a breeze “ just pour water into the tank, press the button, and within minutes, it starts producing small or large ice cubes, depending on your preference. Watching the process is quite fascinating, I must say. The inclusion of a removable ice basket and ice scoop makes transferring ice to drinks or ice buckets effortless. I like the indicator that informs me when to add more water and when the ice compartment is full. The transparent window on the top is another great feature, allowing me to monitor my ice supply with ease. I also like that I don't have to worry about serving ice immediately, as the machine keeps it frozen for hours, providing added convenience. The ice cubes produced are of good size and shape, and I haven't encountered any issues with them melting too quickly. Overall, the Pro Breeze is a stylish and sizeable countertop ice maker that is incredibly user-friendly and can produce refreshing ice in just minutes. It has become an invaluable addition to my home and my go-to machine, making entertaining a breeze. Im truly looking forward to the summer and making the most out of it.

On first use needs to settle in well gas does in it roughly two hours according to leaflet. Noisy it may well be but it's ice chunks it's making so it's bound to be noisy. If your into smoothies and wanting crushed ice better than using the small trays that come with freezer. This was got with intention of son using it when he makes his large smoothies and protein shakes thereby saving space in kitchen freezer from ice cube trays. Summer parties this I can see being an ideal piece of equipment and loads easier than those ice cube trays that tend to spill over. Four stars as that's due to the cost of it. Plus it's a biggish sized item to have out on your kitchen worktop if not using it a lot and space of a premium in your kitchen. Will be more interesting to see further down the line how it's coped with cleaning and if it gets any noisier ¦.

Now the weather is more summery, this is proving invaluable in our drop-in centre. Our freezer would get through ice so quickly by demand and the problem is solved by this efficient machine. We'll recoup the cost by not having to buy ice in. Easy to use. Space is not a problem as this is larger than a domestic kitchen. Noise level not an issue either.

This is a great little machine. It's easy to set up. The manufacturer recommends allowing it to stand for 2 hours before its first use, but then it's a simple matter of filling the 2 litre reservoir with water and flicking a switch, and you have ice in 10 minutes. The ice "cubes" are actually bullet-shaped, and you can choose between large and small sizes, the latter being perfect for use in Chilly bottles, or other containers with narrow necks. The machine has limited space for storing ice, so once you've made a batch, it's best to remove them and put them in the freezer so that there's room to make more. It's not a silent maching, and there is some noise when it's operating, but this isn't too intrusive. It's quite a bit faster than the icemakers built into many freezers, and is just what you need for a party or when unexpected guests appear. Highly recommended!

Catering for a gathering requires almost a military exercise in timing so that crammed drawers can be liberated of some content to fit in ice cube trays. It doesn't often work here when I am planning an event as the freezer holds necessary stocks of pre-made food, so this ice machine will prove very handy to keep everyone supplied with ice for drinks whilst the freezer is liberated from the strain. The ice maker is a mini freezer that converts a tank of water into a choice of two sizes of bullet-shaped ice. There isn't much preparation required to get started, just add water, press a button and wait. It also takes care of cleaning itself, recycles melt water and remaining water can be drained into the sink after use. It is handy to have ice on tap and without getting a massive American fridge freezer as the solution (or emptying out those crammed drawers). A small amount of worktop space is needed (about the same as my ice cream maker) and, if you hold onto the box, easy to store in a cupboard between uses. Not a necessity and it depends on frequency of need, but a handy item to have for ice on tap.
