Design flaw.
The screws fixing the internal workings to the faceplate are positioned too close to the edge and therefore foul the edge of a dry lining back box preventing a nice flush fit. Fits a surface pattress ok.

Switch broke on one socket and now jammed on.
After a couple of months light use the switch on the right hand socket has brocken and can't be turned off.
