Like a hot knife through butter.....

Bought this as I needed to drill through a wall to feed TV coax cable through. The tool feels well-weighted in the hands and very torquey when powered up. Before you could say the proverbial it had gone through the wall.... What a breeze. Appears to be very capable and at a bargain price to boot.

Worth every penny..

I bought one of these 5 years ago.. I have drilled dozens upon dozens of 5" core holes for boiler flues... only now after 5 years, the gear box is beginning to go..but 5 years...£50 quid... no complaints..I'm going to buy another one..

Not too bad

I bought this drill and never really used it. Got it out of its case a couple of years ago to remove lime morter off stone walls. The job was simple and the drill worked very well in the chisel/hammer action. Next main job was to break up a solid stone wall 600mm thick that was held together by concrete. The wall was very solid and the drill performed very well once more. ...and then the problem. I had to cut a 3m hole out of another solid stone wall once again held together by concrete. I started to notice bits coming out of the vents (hitting my face). 30 minutes later the drill is broken. In it's relatively short life it performed well. I think I was asking too much of a small drill to do such a big job and as such accept some blame for it's demise. All in all it's a sub £50 so don't expect it to do big heavy duty work.

Fantastic drill

Can't believe how easy this drill made my job that I had to do. Was a bit doubtful at first before I bought it but wow that's what you call making a job easy.

Well worth the money

Used this this drill in chisel and core drilling mode can say it works well did exactly what i needed it to do. We used it to break holes through brick walls and chase out for pipework. Do not buy this drill for light diy work its quite heavy and packs a high tourqe , can say it works and would recomend .

Plastic power drill

At 850W I was hoping for a really powerful drill, not to be whenever I drilled something tough the gearbox couldn't cope and slipped. I also discovered the drill is pretty low on features with no reversing feature. Some people might say it was only £49.99, but that is all it is worth, actually it's not even worth that - wish I had saved my money and waited till I could afford a decent brand. I want my money back, feel as if I have been robbed

Rubbish

As much use as a chocolate teapot. Purchased to replace a hammer drill i had, had for years. First job tried to drill in to brick. as soon as drill bit needed hammer function. chuck stopped rotating and clutch grinded. Dont buy it. its a waste of money even as a DIY tool
