Spent the weekend relaying some tiles - all looked great - cleaned with the QEP cleaner. All good. Put this down and waited the recommended time before wiping down. The surface was all glossy blotches which wouldn't come off. So, I think that the time should be half what is suggested. Now having to use undiluted cleaner and elbow grease to shift the glossy blotches. Now taking as long to do this part as the job took in total. So, no, I wouldn't recommend this product. Travertine floor tiles in case you're wondering.

Ok, shiny finish but left blotches and streaks which can’t remove easily
Great colour and finish

I used QEP's standard sealer before and wasnt impressed but this colour enhancing one on slate tiles has been great. After I grouted, no matter how much I cleaned the tiles they looked dull still. I was disappointed as I got them for the natural contrasting colours. This sealer really brought them back to life. I did find it dried too quick to be able to leave it for the recommended time but that may be because the tiles were thirsty. Warning: dont do what I did, make sure you where gloves! I have good looking hands now though
Better than at first appears

Used this on slate, at first I was sceptical, it is very thin with the consistency of water. However this is probably necessary to penetrate the pores of the stone unless you use a solvent based product. Tries it on an offcut first. First application had little effect, slight darkening but not much else. Second coat had much more effect so tried it on the slate tiles. The effect is not startling, but it is very beneficial. Like increasing the contrast in a photograph a notch or two, the slate was darker and richer, the traces of lighter stone in the pattern stood out more. Definitely worth using for this alone, I haven't spilt oil or water on the stone so I can't speak for the protective seal.
happy with the results

I bought this to seal "travertine" stone wall tiles. All the instructions are for floor tiles, but seems to do a fine job. Its very runny, like water, so I had to do three coats to get the effect I wanted, as it simply keeps running off a wall! it brought out the colour nicely.
I have yet to check how well it stops the tiles getting water or oil stained, but they are definitely much smoother, but still have a natural matte surface texture, which is what I wanted.
The product says its water based, so washes off the brush with soap / detergent & water.
