- Instructions for Use - Give the tin a good stir to make sure the colour pigment is thoroughly mixed. Test the Woodstain on a small patch to make sure you’re happy with the colour and if you are, use a brush to apply the Woodstain in the direction of the grain. Wait four hours for the first coat to dry before applying the second, leave the second coat to dry for four hours. You need three coats for the best finish. Before you apply the third coat, lightly sand the wood to help the stain stick for a smoother finish and apply the third coat. Wait 12 hours for the third coat to dry completely but it will be rainproof in just one. If you get any stain on yourself, you can wash it off with warm, soapy water.

Ronseal Woodstain
I used this product to cover existing stained wooden windows and doors. Easy to use and covered well, looked as good as new afterwards

Finish looks sup
I bought the Ronseal 2.5l Dark Oak wood stain to use in the garden on the back gate, pergola, very small shed and a sleeper bed. I have painted the back gate and pergola twice and 2.5l was enough. Give it a good stir and off you go. The look and finish is exceptional and worth every penny. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Ronseal 10yr wood stain, top product.

Looked like mud
I bought this for the garden furniture to refresh and protect, the set had faded to very pale and the test patch came out as if it had been dunked in mud. Waste of money.

Leaves a great finish.
Bought to apply to decking and so far looks great. Slight gloss finish but not too much. Applies really well with brush. Good purchase.

Great product
I used this to stain some wooden decorations I’d made for our wedding. The product is brilliant, applies easily, dries well, and gives a good finish. It does need a good stir and may not go as far as you think but it is definitely a worthwhile choice.

Ronseal
When I opened the can the paint was grey but the product required a very good stir before use and it was fine. It was touch dry within the hour and the finish is perfect. Hopefully it will be fine for many years

Bought this for a small garden project. It stained the wood and protected it. It did exactly what it says on the tin.
