Brought as it stated CLEAR varnish. Painted a white sign that we had planned to put in the garden but left a yellow tint to it and completely ruined it. Not happy at all. Would definitely NOT recommend.
This stuff Is NOT clear. Completely inaccurate!

Product is not clear at all! Leaves a brown hue to what ever its painted onto. Ruined a hand painted sign we had made. Definitely do not use this stuff.
Wrong colour but

It's OK as a varnish but it is definitely not clear.

I can imagine someone challenging Ronseal’s description as ‘clear’ under misleading product descriptions, as clear it is not.
As many other people have commented it has a brown tinge to it when applied.
I purchased this to apply to a freshly painted corn board. The board has pastel colours and white areas on it. Now it looks totally ruined by an appearance that has turned it yellow/brown.
I am taking this tin back for a refund and writing to Ronseal for an explanation.
