Great outdoor paint.
Bought this to paint a wooden chest for outdoor use. Covered well and so far has held up well against the rain! Will use again.

Not Charcoal grey and dreadful coverage
Not at all the colour advertised and after 3 thick coats, still patchy…. AVOID

Colour name is misleading
I bought this outdoor colour paint based on the image given above but once applied it's very far from it. It's a light-medium grey and the coverage is not great. I understand that images are just an example but still, it's not fair as the difference in reality is huge if not it's like you bought the wrong colour

Very watered down and pale grey not charcoal
Really disappointed in this paint. Very watery so difficult to put on. Also the colour is not charcoal as stated, it’s quite pale.

Def not a charcoal grey
The colour is no where near what is shown on the tin. Much lighter grey, closer to a slate grey.

Poor coverage
Very disappointing. Coverage is extremely poor. I have used this on bare wood, treated wood and metal (primed and undercoated). Coverage was terrible on all surfaces. It should not take 4 coats to cover a properly prepared metal table top, especially as the undercoat was grey, albeit a little lighter. I expect better from Ronseal.

Amazing coverage
I bought this paint because of its colour but was amazed by its quality and coverage it has made my outdoor sofas look new again. I also used it as a base paint for my buddah statue which is unfinished but looking better with the gold leaf on top. As long as it is mixed thoroughly it will withstand the Welsh weather especially. Cannot fault this paint.

Awful pale grey colour - NOT CHARCOAL!
Bought to paint some grey metal furniture which had faded. Was hoping to match my patio doors which are a dark grey colour. Ended up lighter than the original colour!! Very poor description of the actual colour - it’s nowhere near as dark as charcoal! Also, the paint is quite thin so would definitely need at least two coats. Very disappointed in Ronseal - definitely didn’t do what it says on the tin!

No way charcoal!!
Open the tin to find the paint almost silver grey. Even after stirring it didn’t change. Bought to contrast with a slate grey but way lighter.

Colour is much lighter more like mid grey very dissatisfied
