Ronseal Wet Rot Wood Harder Reinforces decayed wood. Creating a solid base for filling.
- Guarantee - Statutory

- Wear protective gloves to avoid getting hardener on your skin. Open your doors and windows for added ventilation. Remove loose or crumbling wood and make sure the area is dry. For the best repairs, drill small holes into the wood so hardener can get in deeper.
- Give the tin a thorough shake. Pour some of the hardener out into the plastic lid. Apply it with a paint brush. Make sure you get enough on so that it completely soaks into the rotten wood. Leave it to dry for two hours. Scrub with a wire brush to get rid of any excess hardener. Clean your tools with white spirit.

Great stuff for rotting wood
Super stuff, used to restore a rotting shed base. Got through a couple of bottles but the wood is now rock solid.

Lives Up to Its Name
This hardener worked exactly as promised. It cured quickly and bonded extremely well when used with the wood filler. It gave the repair a solid, durable finish that felt much stronger. Ideal for tougher jobs where lasting strength is important. Very impressed with the performance.

Great product
I used this on parts of a shed that were starting to rot. I then filled with Ronseal wood filler and the shed is good as new. The hardener gets sticky so rinse out promptly with white spirit.

Saved a garden table from the tip
Excellent for stabilising soft or rotting areas on aged wood. It soaked in well and gave my 11-year-old garden table a much firmer feel, especially around flaky edges. Dries clear and quickly, giving a solid base for sanding and staining. A must-have for prepping older outdoor furniture before refinishing. A little goes a long way, and don't forget to clean brushes with hite spirit after.

Did the trick
Hardened the wood enough for me to clear out the rotten bits and fill in, to prolong the life of the window frame. It was quick and easy to use and will hopefully enable me to put off the replacement window for a few years 🤞🏻

Does exactly what it says on the tin
No joke - cracking stuff. I restored five wooden window sills with this. Really happy.

Cleaner product
This cleaner really did the trick. It set really quick and hard and should prevent further cracking.
