You can apply this decking stain from the Ronseal Perfect finish range to , using a perfect finish pad, to colour and provide protection. It takes 90 minutes to dry and will cover up to 6.4 m² per litre on average.

- Contains Fatty acids, C6-19-branched, cobalt(2+) salts, 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one and reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2Hisothiazol-3-one (3:1). May produce an allergic reaction.

I would have given no star rating if I could have
I bought this product a few days ago having to drive a 20 mile round trip to get it. Today my painter who I've employed to stain the deck at a charge of £20.00 per hour opened the box to find the stain had been opened and the stain was congealed and un useable, also the deck pad was missing. I had to leave the painter twiddleing his thumbs and drive another 20 mile round trip to take the stain back. When I told the asistant in customer service she offered no apology but called for a male asistant to check the deck stain and he told the asistant to give me a refund and still no apology. I did replace the product and it has done a nice job but B&Q your customer service is appalling.

The applicator is rubbish
I had quite a large area to cover so opted for this due to the applicator. When trying to use it. It did not touch the low points in the decking and ended up doing it all by hand. Save the extra money and buy the normal one and a good quality brush

Great finish.....
But the included decking stain pad does not do exactly what is say on the tin! I had the decking put up last summer and the time came to weather proof it and the finish was great and was pleased. As it is water based, it is so easy to apply with a 4' brush. Whilst the price is on the high side, but you will get what you paid for.

Great stain bit terrible included applicator
The stain is great. A good natural colour that really makes the deck look new. But the spongy applicator it comes with is a waste. Just get a tin and use a brush. It puddled and the applicator didn't spread it around enough. Went through the whole amount. With a brush could have done two applications easily.
