You can apply this decking stain from the Ronseal Perfect finish range to , using a perfect finish pad, to colour and provide protection. It takes 90 minutes to dry and will cover up to 6.4 m² per litre on average.

Looks great, shame about the brush
I have just done the first coat on my decking. It already looks significantly smarter and I'm pleased with the enhanced appearance of my decking. Unfortunately the brush was troublesome - I couldn't get the sponge to stay on, it kept popping out again. You have to click it into position but it seems to dislodge easily when you are applying the stain. The more times it popped out the harder it was to get it to click back in again. The final time I tried to click it in again I managed to snap the handle off the head of the brush rendering it useless! However, a large paint brush was easy enough to finish off the first coat.

Excellent product, but don't bother with the pad
Really happy with the finish from this stain, followed the instructions and our decking now looks much improved. my only tip would be don't bother buying this tub with the pad/applicator thing. It didnt go on evenly and used loads of stain. For the second coat I just used a paintbrush and this did a much better job and didn't take much longer.
