Fantastic purchase
I bought 2 of them about 8 years ago. One of the best things I ever did. Both are still functioning perfectly well, providing a soft, warm and still bright light.

I love this product
I bought two of these a while ago and love it. It has four settings when you touch it - dim, bright, brighter and then off. The problem is I knocked one over and the shade broke - can't get a replacement. You can still use it without though, just now have a bare bulb. Please make some more!

Not fit for purpose. Faulty
This product looks good but has a lot of issues. First of all the bulbs didn't last a day. (Someone in store helped us, so according to them and the box it was the correct one. So not an incorrect bulb issue) So we kept buying more bulbs thinking it was faulty. None lasted more than a day or so if that much. We used the bulbs as per the bottom of the box. Then came the issue of the ghost dimmer... it was going through dimming on its own. No it wasn't touching anything or close to anything... more bulbs were lost. We can't find the receipt and the item is not fit for purpose! So thanks for wasting our money.....

a waste of money
I bought two of these. One started to play up after about a week; it would go from dim to bright to off without being touched. It then started to come on, most annoyingly, in the middle of the night. The second lamp followed suit around a month later. I bought these in Glasgow for my home in the Western Isles, so returning them was not an option. I have therefore removed the dimming/touch mechanism and fitted a separate switch so that they can be used.

Looks the part
So impressed with this lamp I went back and bought another the next day. Perfect for side table or bedroom, attractive lamp just what I wanted

Needs a DIMMABLE bulb
Don't be tempted to purchase the package of 'Frequently bought together' light and bulb - the bulb it isn't dimmable, so the 3-stage lighting will not work. The light is excellent (this is the 4th one I've bought), but it doesn't state that it will only give 3 different strengths of light if a DIMMABLE BULB is used. Look for the words on the bulb package.

Great Light - Poor Info
We bought this as a bit of ambient lighting in our lounge. We liked the style and the fancy On/Off switching :) All looked good, However we didn't notice the need to buy a bulb which may sound odd but the only other lights we've bought from B&Q have been external ones which include bulbs!! So we had to make a return trip. That however was not the end of the problem as although the box states you need a candle ses bulb it doesn't specify it has to be an e14 fitting so we left with a bulb that was too big and had to make another return visit. Guess what? we found an e14 candle bulb but when we got home discovered it had to be a 'dimmable' bulb as well - something else not highlighted on the box. Will be returning the bulb we bought from B&Q but have managed to get a bulb locally to save yet another trip into town. Great light but the info relating to which bulb is needed could be a lot clearer.

Store Display Incorrect & Faulty
When to the store in Bury St Edmund and saw lamp on display one touched on and off check lamp fitted in display model and bought both. Got home and tried but lamp just flashed. Looked at box saw it had three light levels found a tungsten lamp and it worked OK for a day. Found the light would turning on on its own when checking also would operate from 100mm away not touch. Took back 26 mile round trip. Staff not interested told to get another one tried the one on display wold also flash if touched lightly again told staff same not our job attitude. New one is working fine at present one week on.

Excellent Choice
Bought 2 of these lamps for th bedside tables. Very pleased with them. they give off plenty of light without having to buy special bulbs like we had to buy for our previous lamps. Very good value and extremely pleased.
