Stunning looking

Bought this product this month arrived within 48 hours and B&Q were the cheapest with no delivery charge . It did take two experienced guys to put up and they had no issues with assembling and even adapted the height by cutting the poles and every thing looked great I’m very pleased and would certainly recommend

Needs at least 3 people to put it up

Only buy this if you're confident fixing multiple points to your wall, and you have at least 3 people to hold it to the wall while you drill.

Do not even consider this

It does take some time to put together but if you can use a drill and have some common sense then you will be fine although be careful as some screw holes do not match up. However if you value your sanity do not bother with this as once up you will have to have a ladder handy as it will never roll out as it should, the pulley system is poorly designed with the guide rope always falling off and getting jammed. If by some stroke of luck the guide rope does not get jammed the cover will get caught half way where the 2 sections of frame are joined and hey presto you will need the ladder again. If you want shade or some type of rain cover either buy a hat or even a golf umbrella but do not but this

Overall good

Looks good but the frame is poorly made. Had to make quite a few adjustments so it did take a while to put up but it does do its job well.

Great result but a huge pain to fit

We put this together this weekend and had to make a couple of modifications to the instructions to put it up. Really a 3-4 person job not 2 person! Not the best quality, some parts were already a little bit knocked or bent but good for the price, just make sure you have a couple of tall ladders and at least 3 pairs of hands. The final result is pleasing to look at but the canopy sometimes catches on the runners as they come in 2 pieces and the pulley string sometimes falls off the bracket so you then need a ladder to put it back on. OK if you have a broom handy to help the runners along but doesn't just work quite like you'd hope.

My second canopy

I bought my 1st canopy 8 years ago and had good use out of it, but the canvass deteriorated in the weather, and so I have bought a replacement. This still suffers the same two basic faults that the first one had. Firstly the tracking bars in which the wheels run comes in 2 parts for assembly. This should come as one long length because the joint is where all the problems occur. It is so critical both in manufacture and site joining that the most minuscule fault causes the running canvas to catch. Secondly the only protection from the weather is a canvas "roof" held on by 4 small screws, and this roof eventually gets torn off by the wind. This then leads to deterioration of the canvas canopy and metal bar holders, and disintegration is rapid. Such a shame for these two faults, as otherwise the product is and looks brilliant.
