Good product

We bought to modernise our old fitted wardrobe, hated the original colour we had to buy 4 cans of it and we sprayed first coat with a black spray paint first let it dry then applied two further coats of the aged stone spray we took the doors off and sprayed them on a table in our garage and it’s turned out really well I’m very pleased, warming the spray is very strong so make sure you have a mask on when applying it and buy more that advised on the tin also make sure you shake it well before use try a sample on cardboard or something.

rubbish

Colour far lighter than sample board and cap, had to buy satin black to spray over the top to get what I expected. Very disappointing and expensive

Expensive disappointment

I tried shaking the can for the recommended1 minute and a tiny amount of clear liquid came out. The next day did not shake the can and nothing. Very expensive waste of time.

Looks good but expensive

Says it covers 1.2m2 but it took 3 cans to cover 0.8m and it still wasn't perfect. Works out really expensive to get the coverage but does look when finished

Awful!

Just bought this whether or not I bought a faulty can but after giving the can a good shake it was mainly a clear substance with no texture or colour whatsoever. Thoroughly disappointed and a waste of £11. I’ve used rustoleum products before and always been happy but sadly not this time .

Totally Useless

Bought 2 cans. Neither work. Followed the instructions shaking the can for 1 minute. Pressed the button, a dribble came out then nothing. The spray button wouldn't even let me press it down after that. Like it was stuck. Taking both back for a refund. Thought I'd chance buying these even though the reviews were bad. Wish I hadn't bothered.

Wow

So I wanted to refresh 3 garden furniture resin cubes...... they look great now, better than brand new. Aged iron - dark gunmetal grey. I did a quick sand down on one as it had a shiner finish, then a grey primer, then 3 tins of spray!! Downside, 3 cans per cube is needed and they only total 1.2m square each so budget for twice as much paint as you need! I’m doing my third one next weekend!!! And then a parasol base in a buff color. High quality, unique finish that will make you proud. But buy twice as much as the can says. It’s an excellent product - even my partner complemented me on how good they look!!!

Making a miniature

Bought this to make a miniature church for our harvest festival and gave the right texture.

Would be great if it came out the tin. :(

Having now tried several cans with mixed results - I thought it only right to leave a review. I'd suggest that the instructions need looking into as they are wrong or lacking. When working the nozzle creates a very thin jet - which when sprayed at the recommended 30cm - I found to be way to close as the product runs badly however quickly you move the tin. Spraying at 60-80cm produced a much better spray but the coverage is then far less described and then becomes very expensive - ( for instance - I've just sprayed a mannequin headless torso and it needs approx 3 tins to do a satisfactory job = £27 ) The other thing they get wrong - is it says to shake tin for 1 minute, You'll find sometimes by doing that the paint then does NOT come out at all. I have just wasted a trip to B&Q due to having a tin where the paint does not come out - as they were shut, I had to go back this morning - the service lady then pressed the nozzle only to find it spraying as it should.... obviously with little to no pressure in the tin from not shaking the recommended time. I then came back home with the same tin as she would not replace it and - Yes - you've guessed it - shook tin for the 1 minute and nothing. So - do I now waste yet more time and money on fuel or just give up as a bad job? The final finish can be nice - but do expect your project to cost way more than you count on.
