Excellent tool
The best feature of this saw is undoubtedly that it is battery operated, no more worrying about where the mains lead is. I wondered if it would be as powerful as a mains one; I've just used it to cut a worktop in the kitchen with no problem at all.

Great features for the price.
Good budget priced rip saw. It's a great saw for the price, but lacks some pro features that some may wish to see. The base plate is pressed steel rather than cast aluminimum so it's subject to banding/warping. Even a composite plastic base would have added just a smidgen more precision. Having said that it's a good machine with lots of features to amke it a worthwhile addittion to my tool kit.

Better than my older corded device ??
The in-store cutting machine was out of order, which led to the essential purchase of the circular saw , Or so I told the other half, Pleasantly surprised, vs an older corded device, this ripped through 18mm sheet ply with no problem , It's adjustability is great and the battery lasted a long time, like that it can be connected to a vacuum and there's adjustability on the depth of cut , It's also light but solid , blade cuts with ease and no jumping or juddering experiences
