You can apply this woodstain from Sadolin to exterior wooden surfaces, using a brush, to provide protection. It covers up to 15m² per litre.

Pity that it's not natural colour
I bought Sadolin as it's a very good quality stain, but beware, this is not a natural colour. It is very orange and, as a result, my gates now look like they have a fake tan, rather than the natural light colour that they were before. Therefore, I can't rate this better than poor, simply because of the colour.
