Easy to apply and great colour & finish!
Bought to paint a standard size garage door. Really impressed with the ease of application and the consistency of this paint, thick enough to give great coverage with just one coat without drips, but not so thick to be like trying to spread treacle (as is the case with Hammerites paint I’ve used in the past!) It does go tacky fairly fast so I found working quickly with a large brush was best for a good even finish. Coverage was spot on as stated, 2 coats and I still have about a third of a tin left. Lovely colour too, not too vivid, nor too muddy looking giving that classic country cottage look. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Not fit for purpose
The paint is very runny and thin and it will need two or more coats to cover the undercoat. The paint has to be applied extremely thinly to prevent runs. This is even worse on a vertical surface. It is really not fit for purpose. Caveat emptor.

Superb product.
My front door is south facing and this is the only coloured paint that has managed to cope with the extreme heat. Bay tree is a lovely colour am about to buy a few tins as have also been using it for painting a wooden rocking chair looks fantastic and is hardy. Now plan to use for other projects.....

Read The Small Print
The colour choice is good, but it’s not great to apply. It takes twice as long to dry as stated. The front of the tin says ‘10 year’, however, the small print says it will provide UP TO 10 years protection. At best misleading. Only bought it because the Ronseal version wasn’t available due to lockdown. Regretting it already.

Good quality
I have been using this colour for a few years now. I started with the front door then went onto garden posts and my sweet heart chairs. I have now just started the garage doors. It soaks in very well, no steaks, it leaves a good quality look and finish. I love the colour and gives my house the country cottage feel from the outside. I wouldn't use any other paint now.

Just the colour!
Bought this paint for my exterior doors and wasn't disappointed. The colour is exactly as shown on the tin! It has a Farrow and ball heritage feel to it which is perfect for my Georgian home! The photo is taken of a side door under a porch so not in full light! Do not hesitate to buy quality is excellent and applying is so easy. Two coats is plenty!

Product is great , lovely colour
Bought this to spruce up my doors . Went on great and the colour is exact as on the tin ! A little goes a long way . Managed to do my front and back door ans have left over

A great product
I wanted a quality paint to re-coat both my front door and garage door. The Bay Tree colour was just what I was looking for (see photo) so I took a chance and bought a 0.75L tin. The paint was very good to work with although, like any painting work, it's always best to buy quality brushes and/or rollers to do this sort of work. Very happy with this and I'm definitely going to buy another tin to do another coat (front doors can easily get knocked about and suffer chipped paintwork).

worst paint ever
So quick drying, it dries as you paint, leaving drag marks even with fine brushes, tried a roller, leaves pot marks all over that needed rubbing down before recoating. The finish looks like it was painted with a yard broom. Would not recommend this product to my worst enemy.

Lovely, smooth texture
I bought 3 tins to paint my fence last month. The paint is very smooth and gives a lovely, fresh, modern look to my fence. I love the colour!
