Avoid this product
I bought one of these last week. The instructions on the packet are to drill a 22mm hole to fit the latch in. It didn't fit. On measuring the latch with a vernier calliper, the latch is nearly 25mm in diameter. I assumed I had a poorply made item, so went back to get another, only to find that they are all made to the same dimensions. The fitting instructions are wrong!! I now have to try and rectify this after drilling my door out to the fitting instructions. Staff at my local store were very helpful, but not much they can do. B & Q need to review this product and all of their 80mm latches.

Not worth the money
The mechanism is very clunky and struggles to close.

Unusable poor quality
Wish I had read the reviews before purchase, no idea why still on the shelf after these reviews. It’s that bad.

Product unusable
The tubular latch width is too big for the stated 22mm drill hole by several mm’s and is unusable. Will be seeking a refund. Unacceptable.

Flimsy
These are so flimsy, they are really not worth buying, get something a little more expensive thats going to last.

Drill hole too small
The packaging indicates to drill a 22mm hole for the tubular latch to fit into. The latch does not fit into this hole whatsoever. It appears they’ve measured the longest side of the rectangular shape forgetting that it’s wider at an angle

Disappointing
Body deformed whilst inserting, screw head sheared on tightening

Broken Again
This type of latch has broken again, this time I have kept the receipt and will return it for a refund. The must have a design fault.
